I have been working for Washington Advocate of Deaf and Hard of Hearing (WADHH) since January 2018 as Client Advocate. Before that I used to work for the State of Utah Division of Services of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DSDHH) for almost 13 years as Hard of Hearing Specialist/Supervisor. Not to mention that I used to work for SouthEastern Washington Service Center of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (SEWSCDHH) for 4 years. I have a passion to help any people with hearing loss including speech limitations. Now, I’m more involved with Deaf and Hard of Hearing Seniors, making sure we meet once a month for luncheon.

I was Chapter President Self Help for Hard of Hearing People (SHHH) for 3 years in the TriCities area. The name of SHHH was changed to the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA). I spearheaded and coordinated the Walk4Hearing in Salt Lake City area for about 2 years. It was challenging and wonderful to meet people with a wide range of hearing loss.

I’m currently serving in the WADHH TriCities and Yakima areas. If you need help with services and advocacy, feel free to contact me at 509-498-6412 or email me at robin.traveller@wadhh.org.
